RECORDS OF ACHIEVEMENT

In August 1996, the first golf ball to carry the "Thommo" brand name was unveiled by the designer and endorser, Peter Thomson in Australia. Later in the same year, follow-up product launches were held in South Africa and Malaysia in October and December respectively.

The following year in 1997, our company introduced a distance ball, called DS-100 which phenomenally became the preferred choice amongst professional and amateur golfers.

A milestone was reached in 1998 when Thommo developed the world class, Titanium Distance golf ball. A big hit, where it was the first of three products that utilized titanium compound in the core for golfers to gain the advantage for longer distance. This ball earned the enviable honor of being the first Asian made golf ball to be used as the Official Ball for the 1998 World Cup held in New Zealand.

In 1999, Thommo created the Titanium Pro-Feel golf ball which was specifically targeted at low-handicappers and professionals. The ball gained the distinction of being the Official Ball for the 1999 World Cup held at the Mines Resort City, Malaysia.

Thommo ProFeel MX was granted as the Official Tournament Ball for Asian PGA in 2001 and 2002 for two consecutive years.

Early 2003, a new edition 3-piece golf ball was introduced to the market. The Thommo Outlaw Precision score remarkable hit in the market and it was perceived as a reputable golf ball amongst golfers. The new 3-piece ball eventually draws the attention from low-handicappers who desires control, feel and precision.

In Year 2004, Thommo drives its technology to the limit and concluded with another achievement where two more golf balls are launched, namely Thommo Winner Precision and Thommo Meteor. The Thommo Winner Precision is a 2-piece constructed ball which provides maximum distance with extra mileage, and at the same time it communicates softness feeling at impact. Whereas Thommo Meteor golf ball glows / emits light in the dark. In South East Asia, Thommo Marketing is claimed to be the manufacturing pioneer, which produces the glowing golf ball for night golfing.

Thommo launches the first ever state-of-the-art technology soft urethane cover ball called Thommo Vortex in the Thommo Medinova Masters 2005.
